TWIN WIRELESS ยท YOUR INFORMATION

PRIVACY POLICY

How information is collected and used when you contact Twin Wireless, use the Twin Wireless app, or submit a service request.

Twin Wireless collects only the information reasonably needed to respond to customers, provide requested services, protect the website, and maintain business records.

"Twin Wireless" is a trade name of Twins Wireless Cell City Inc, the company that operates the Line Ave shop, this website, and the Twin Wireless mobile app for Android. This policy covers all three. Where a section applies only to the app, it says so.

Information We Collect

Depending on the service used, we may collect:

  • Name, telephone number, optional email address, and preferred contact method.
  • Device type, model, repair issue, appointment details, and customer notes.
  • Carrier, prepaid wireless number, requested amount, due date, request status, and Bill Pay details.
  • Payment method selection, payment confirmation name or note, and manual-verification status.
  • An IMEI, when you ask us to check a device. See Device Checks and the IMEI below.
  • Messages you type to the Twin Wireless assistant.
  • Basic technical and security records such as date, time, browser information, IP address, error logs, and activity used to prevent abuse.
  • If you create a customer account: your name, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. Twin Wireless never stores the password itself and cannot read it.

Information You Should Not Submit

Do not enter carrier passwords, account PINs, Social Security numbers, full debit- or credit-card numbers, online-banking credentials, or unrelated sensitive information in a website form, an app form, or a notes field.

How We Use Information

  • To review and complete repair, appointment, device-check, activation, Bill Pay, and customer-service requests.
  • To contact customers about a request, approval, payment, repair, pickup, or account correction.
  • To confirm identity or match a customer with a submitted request.
  • To prevent spam, fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
  • To maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.
  • To improve website reliability and customer service.

Phone Calls and Text Messages

When you call Twin Wireless at (318) 723-9666, an AI phone assistant answers and can help with common questions. During that call, it may offer to send you a one-time text message โ€” either a callback message passed to the shop owner, or a financing application link, if you ask for one. We only send that text after you verbally agree to it in the moment, during the call; no text is ever sent without you asking for it first.

Message frequency depends on your request โ€” typically one text per request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Agreeing to receive a text is never a condition of any purchase or repair.

Sharing Information

We may share information with carriers, service providers, payment services, hosting or security providers, and professional advisers only when reasonably needed to provide a requested service, operate the website, protect rights, or comply with law.

Twin Wireless does not sell personal information.

Website Analytics & Your Choice

With your permission, Twin Wireless uses Google Analytics to understand page visits, general device and browser categories, approximate region, referral sources, and website interactions. Analytics helps us improve the website and understand which services customers use.

We configure Analytics to avoid sending form entries, names, telephone numbers, email addresses, wireless numbers, IMEIs, payment amounts, payment references, request numbers, or private payment-link codes. Page addresses sent to Analytics exclude query strings so private links are not reported.

You may allow or decline Analytics using the privacy notice. Use the Privacy Settings button displayed on the website to change that choice later. Declining Analytics does not prevent you from using the website or submitting a service request.

Google may process Analytics information according to its own terms and privacy practices. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

This section applies to the website only. The Twin Wireless app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

Cash App, Zelle & Third Parties

Payments made through Cash App, Zelle, a bank, a carrier, or another third party are also governed by that provider's terms and privacy practices. Twin Wireless does not control third-party applications or websites.

The Twin Wireless Mobile App

The Twin Wireless app for Android sends everything it collects to Twin Wireless's own servers over an encrypted connection. It contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party tracking software.

The app requests one permission on your device:

  • Camera โ€” used only to read the barcode of an IMEI so you do not have to type fifteen digits by hand. The camera reads the number and nothing else. No photograph or video is ever taken, saved, stored, or transmitted. You can decline camera access and type the IMEI instead; the rest of the app works normally.

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, photo library, files, calendar, call history, or messages, and does not read anything else on your device.

Messages you type to the Twin Wireless assistant are answered by Twin Wireless's own server using our published repair prices and shop information. They are not sent to any outside artificial-intelligence service.

Device Checks and the IMEI

When you ask us to check a device, the IMEI you scan or type is sent to a specialist third-party device-checking service, which returns the carrier-lock status, blacklist status, and original carrier for that device. We cannot produce that report without sending the IMEI, because the information lives in industry databases that Twin Wireless does not operate.

We send only the IMEI. An IMEI identifies a handset rather than a person, and we do not send your name, telephone number, email address, or any other detail about you with it. The checking service is operated by a company located outside the United States, under its own terms; Twin Wireless does not control what that company does with the numbers it receives.

If you would rather not have an IMEI sent to that service, do not use the device check. Bring the phone to the shop instead and we will look at it in person.

Push Notifications

This section applies to the app only. If you sign in and allow notifications, the app registers a notification token so we can tell you when a bill-pay request has been approved, verified, or completed. We ask for this permission only after you sign in, never on first opening the app.

Delivering a notification requires passing that token and the message through Expo and Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging, the services Android uses to deliver notifications. We do not include payment details, account numbers, or amounts you owe in the notification text beyond what is needed to tell you a request has changed status.

You may turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, or by signing out of the app, which removes the token from our records.

Customer Accounts

A customer account is optional. It exists so you can see your bill pay history on any device you sign in to. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash, and sign-in sessions are held as tokens that can be revoked by signing out.

A past request is added to an account only when someone proves they know both its request number and the contact telephone number used on it. Twin Wireless does not attach requests to an account automatically.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time. In the app, open My Account, sign in, choose Delete my account, and confirm with your password; the account is removed immediately. If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, follow the instructions at twin-wireless.com/account/delete, or email help@twin-wireless.com and we will remove it for you within thirty days of confirming the request with you.

Deleting an account permanently destroys your sign-in email address, your stored password, the name and telephone number held on the account, every active sign-in session, any notification registrations, and the links between your account and your past requests.

Deleting an account does not erase the record of work we performed or payments we handled. Bill pay, repair, and activation requests are business records of an actual transaction, and we keep them to meet our tax and accounting obligations, resolve a later dispute about a payment or a repair, and honor warranty claims on work we carried out. Once your account is deleted those records are no longer linked to any login and nobody can sign in to view them.

Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the requested service, business records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Different records may require different retention periods.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect customer information, including encrypting information in transit between your device and our servers. No website, device, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices

You may contact Twin Wireless to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted. Some information may be retained when reasonably required for completed transactions, security, disputes, or legal obligations.

Children

The website, the app, and our online service forms are intended for customers able to authorize a transaction and are not directed to children under thirteen.

Policy Changes

This policy may be updated when website features, app features, business practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page.
